Why do my walls need to be prepped before hanging wallcovering?

Can wallcovering hide the cracks in my walls?

Because wallcovering dries to the wall our installers tediously prepare and smooth the wall as if they were preparing to paint. However, some wallcoverings will show more than others, for example metallic's and light-colored papers will show more imperfections than heavy woven papers and colorful patterns. In able to have e a nice looking wall, it is essential that imperfections are repaired before installation. Don't worry, our installers are expertly trained and have many years of experience for you to trust in.

Can you install new wallcovering over wallpaper?

For the very best results we suggest that you always remove the existing paper when possible. However, if removing the old paper means damage to the existing drywall we will first prime the existing wallcovering, and then install over old wallpaper.

Is your adhesive considered a "green" product?
